An action packed weekend is in store for all of you, with fun and excitement for the whole family. Family entertainment is once again a highlight with activities from the tiny tots, right up to Moms and Dads. We have already confirmed exciting activities such as Bubble Balls to walk on water, RKT Helicopter flips over the wine lands, Top G Games, Extreme Bounce, Bev’s Games for tombola fun & prizes, Paintball Passion to get your frustrations out, Dirtopia with cycle out rides, Royal Canin will be doing their "Mutt Lounge" for the family pets on leash along with SPCA and they will also be staging a 'SPCA Royal Canin 4x2 Doggie Walk' through the orchards on Sunday, SA Guide Dogs will be doing a fund raiser, SA Metro Dog Unit will perform a dog agility show and Search and Rescue K9 will demonstrate their skills & Educo Africa will be showing kids how to be creative the ‘Eco’ friendly way, Cre8tive Kids will host a secure area full of artistic activities for children from 3 to 12 years, the Winelands Horse trails will have pony out rides in the wine lands and carts rides around the show, Cape Side Cars will bring back nostalgia and drive you around the show, The SA Observatory will be doing ‘Star Gazing’ on Saturday evening 2 Oct. and more activities will follow.

The focus of the Outdoor Adventure and Travel Expos has always been the outdoors and outdoor accessories, adventure activities, travel destinations and products. This year we have added a new section called Go Eco - the purpose of this area is to educate and enlighten visitors about the effect we have on the environment and to showcase eco-friendly products and services. We have had firm support over the years from some of the biggest companies and government organisations in the country and continue to enjoy their loyalty - their commitment shows that we have a winning formula and are leaders in the industry.

Visitors can find everything from caravans, tents, gadgets and trailers to beautiful local destinations, exotic international tours and the most exciting adventure products and activities available in Southern Africa. We host about 160 companies at each show who offer countless numbers of products and services for the discerning travel enthusiast. The show is over a three day period (Friday to Sunday) and welcomes about 19 000 visitors.

The success of the show is due to a dedicated, professional team who believe what they do and have a passion for organising events of the highest standard. We are 100% BEE compliant and have been for many years. In addition to this, we have a strong corporate social involvement strategy linking non-profit organisations such as The South African Guide Dogs Association and the SPCA with a platform allowing said organisations to raise funds for their projects at no cost to them.

Outdoor Exhibition Organisers – stand design and building operation, Adventure Experience, have won the award in conjunction with their client, Kenya Airways for the Best Custom Stand over 18m square, at the World Travel Show at the Dome this past weekend. The look and feel reflected the professionalism of Kenya Airways whilst bringing in touches of culture, wildlife and beach activities one can experience in Kenya. The added theme included touch of Moroccan/north Africa influence which is prevalent in Kenya hotels and tourism sites.

Outdoor Exhibition Organisers – stand design and building operation, Adventure Experience, wins the Best Stand Award for design and building of the South African National Parks stand at Beeld Expo earlier this year. The stand reflects the marketing and branding strategy of SANParks and affords a welcoming space for interacting between Visitors and Exhibitors over the show period.
